A player shields the ball from Coach Luka in a 1v1 duel at dusk, individual training for club players at The Soccer Lab, Carlsbad

    One player. One plan.

    A club season buys your player a team. It doesn’t buy them a plan.

    Twelve players. One field. One hour.

    Your player’s coach is doing their job: building a team that plays well together. Finding the one thing holding your player back isn’t part of it. There isn’t time, and it isn’t what practice is for.

    So a club season buys them:

    • A season.
    • A team.
    • A lot of touches.

    What it doesn’t buy is a plan that belongs to them.

    // What changes

    // 01

    You stop guessing.

    After one 45-minute session you get it in writing: where your player stands across seven categories, the few things holding them back, and which one matters most right now.

    // 02

    They get better in the six days you're not there.

    Every session ends with homework: a named drill, how long, how often. We check it at the start of the next one.

    // 03

    It shows up at practice.

    Eight weeks later they can do something they couldn't do before, and their coach can see it. That is the whole point. The work happens here and it pays off there.

    // Questions

    No. Everything we work on is chosen to make them better at what their team already asks of them, and nothing here contradicts a club coach. Most of the players we see are on a club team.

    No, and most parents don’t at first. It tends to come up on its own around week six, when the coach notices something changed.

    No. It is the opposite of more. Team practice is built for the team, and it has to be: twelve players, one field, one hour. That is not a criticism of their coach; it is what practice is for. What it cannot do is find the one thing holding your player back and work on it every week until it changes. This is one player and one priority, with homework between sessions.

    Most of the players we work with are 7 to 12, and we also work with older competitive players by conversation. Nobody is turned away on age.

    You see the written evaluation the same evening as the free first session. You see the change in the re-score at session eight, usually inside ten weeks.

    Then that is what the evaluation says, and there is nothing to pay.

    Most players we work with are on a club team. The work is built to make them better at the thing they’re already doing.

    Luka has a clear gift for identifying exactly what a player needs to work on and building real confidence in the process.
